What is all this crystal business about and who is this person you might ask yourself….Well here’s a little bit about me and how I got into all of this….
As a child I had an extremely eccentric upbringing. I am the daughter of two folklorists. One who was studying Obeia (black magic) and the other Fishing, for lack of a better word.. What is folklore you may ask…It is the study of culture. Both my parents were writing books and were living on a sailboat in the West Indies. So one could say this is where my fascination with the mystical and stones began. While my parents were observing, I was LIVING the culture. So really it has become second nature to me.
I began working with stones at a young age and seriously about 20 years ago. It was a fluke experiment on a friend that I discovered the stones would tell me about blockages and injuries. I was quite surprised at first but now it continues to fascinate me. You may think you a choosing a stone because it is pretty but there is usually something deeper than that. The stones have also helped me deepen my yoga practice.
I turned to yoga to become a faster athlete in my early 30s and then in my 40s after suffering some trauma, took it deeper by getting my 500 hour teacher training. I went through a very difficult decade and found that the stones helped me heal my heart, my soul, my body and it helped me deepen my practice of yoga and meditation. The stones come from the earth and you too can pull the earth’s energy into your body and heal any past trauma. I would love an opportunity to share the joys of healing your body through crystal clearing, crystal meditation and yoga with crystals.
